Virtual mailbox in Philadelphia, PA: store-network shops vs Center City prestige floors

If you need a virtual mailbox or a business address in Philadelphia, you are shopping packing stores from South Street and North Broad out to Castor and Frankford, plus a few Center City prestige floors. You can buy a 191xx line from an app. That line is almost always a CMRA counter or a suite number. A CMRA is a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency: a private business allowed to receive mail for other people. It is not a mailroom VirtualPostMail or US Global Mail staffs in Philadelphia. Decide which product you need, then compare the scorecards.

Updated September 2026 · Verification key: operator-confirmed means the store or the company’s own page names this street. reported means we copied the street from a network map or an older list. We have not looked at every door.

Philadelphia stretches across more than one 191xx corridor: South Philly on South Street, North Broad, then the Northeast on Castor and Frankford. Center City Locust, Market, Broad, and Chestnut are prestige floors, not packing counters. Roxborough 19128 is metro-edge, not downtown. The apps sell both store-network CMRA shops and prestige floors. VirtualPostMail’s published mailbox cities are not Philadelphia. US Global Mail’s cited core rooms are Houston, New York, and Concord, CA.

What this page is not

It is not a promise that every iPostal1 pin still answers the phone. Network maps churn. Franchise stores rebrand. We list a working set you can check in an afternoon, with the source on each row.

Northeast 19114 and 19152 and Roxborough 19128 are metro-edge rows, the same kind of include as Encino on the Los Angeles page and Bellevue on the Seattle page. Center City Locust, Market, Broad, and Chestnut prestige floors stay reported unless an operator page names the occupant. We did not find a PostNet Philadelphia storefront on the official Pennsylvania locator (Bethlehem, Dresher, and Scranton only). We did not find a PostalAnnex or Pak Mail Philadelphia storefront. We did not find a company-run Philadelphia mail hub on VirtualPostMail or US Global Mail public marketing. Published VirtualPostMail mailbox cities we can name are Covina, CA; Claymont, DE; Brandon, FL; Henderson, NV; and Keller, TX. US Global Mail’s cited core rooms are Houston, New York, and Concord, CA.

Which mailbox product you are buying here

Company-run hub

A mailroom the company staffs. Philadelphia does not get one we can name on a 191xx street. The rooms we can cite are VirtualPostMail in Covina, Claymont, Brandon, Henderson, and Keller, not Philadelphia, and US Global Mail in Houston, New York, and Concord, CA. Mail handling is usually more consistent than a partner store. Banking / KYC and Google Business Profile grades stay F unless the vendor’s own documents say otherwise. KYC means Know Your Customer: the checks a bank uses to confirm who you are. Google Business Profile is the listing Google uses for Maps.

Store network / packing store

A retail CMRA. Counter, boxes, maybe a notary. In Philadelphia that is South Street, North Broad, Castor, Frankford, or Cathedral Road. iPostal1, Anytime, and PostScan all resell stores like these. Mail grade is the store’s. Banking / KYC and Google Business Profile grades stay F.

Office-building listing

A suite number on Locust, Market, Broad, or Chestnut. Sometimes a real receptionist. Sometimes a mailbox behind a locked floor. We could not name a Center City occupant on an independent operator page we could open. Those floors stay reported. Do not assume a bank will accept a callback.

That split is the point of this page. A 19147 South Street packing counter and a 19102 Market Street tower floor share a metro and almost nothing else. VirtualPostMail’s published mailbox cities remain Covina, CA; Claymont, DE; Brandon, FL; Henderson, NV; and Keller, TX. We did not find a VirtualPostMail Philadelphia company hub on their mailbox address index. We did not find a PostNet, PostalAnnex, or Pak Mail Philadelphia storefront.

Scorecards for products that actually appear on this map

This is not legal advice. The grades below are product grades. They are not a promise a bank or the Pennsylvania Department of State will accept the street.

iPostal1

Store network
Mail
C-
Largest network. Mail quality is the local store's job, not iPostal1's.
Banking / KYC
F
CMRA flag. Wrong product for Mercury, Relay, Stripe Issuing/Treasury, and similar KYC.
Google Business Profile
F
A rented mailbox is a virtual office under Google's written rules.

An app that sends your mail to a local packing store, a UPS Store, a coworking desk, or an office building. The local store handles the mail.

Mail-only occupancy is not a Google Business Profile location.

Same store-network model as iPostal1. Each store sets price and day-to-day handling.

CMRA: Yes, partner locations are CMRAs

Google Business Profile
F
Still a mailbox, not a staffed storefront you operate.

Some rooms the company runs, plus a larger set of partner stores. The stores are independent.

CMRA: Yes, hub and partner addresses are still CMRAs for USPS mail

PostScan Mail

VirtualPostMail is a company-run hub we cite in other cities. It has no Philadelphia mailbox on its published address pages, so its scorecard does not apply to the 191xx rows below. South Street Business Center, The Ship Shop PHL, and THE PACK & SHIP STORE name virtual or digital mailbox on their own sites. You are grading the store. The logo on the app is secondary. Read the suite line on Form 1583. Form 1583 is the USPS form that lets the store accept mail for you.

Stores you can call vs prestige floors vs a hub in another city

Six Philadelphia storefronts rose to operator-confirmed because an independent store page names the street. South Street Business Center publishes 744 South St, Philadelphia PA 19147. Digital / virtual mailbox is listed on the homepage. Private mailbox rental is listed with a one-year contract: Personal $300.00, Business $360.00, Corporate $420.00, plus a $20.00 key deposit. (215) 592-8000. Hours published on the store site retrieve as of September 6–7, 2026 PT: Sun closed, Mon Sep 7 (Labor Day) closed, Tue–Fri 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, Sat 11:00 AM–4:00 PM. iPostal1 Select from $19.99. The homepage does not print a virtual-mail plan we could copy. Still a CMRA. We did not call the store.

The Ship Shop PHL names 3131 N Broad St Unit 1, Philadelphia PA 19132. Digital / virtual mailbox on the homepage. Anytime Mailbox on the store’s Anytime page. 215.575.5103. Hours published on the store site retrieve as of September 6–7, 2026 PT: Sun closed, Mon Sep 7 (Labor Day) closed, Tue–Fri 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. Those are four stickers. The cited pages list those prices separately. North Broad, not Center City. THE PACK & SHIP STORE names 9910 Frankford Ave Ste 4, Philadelphia PA 19114. The Anytime page says prices start as low as 9.99 per month. Anytime’s Pennsylvania index lists US$9.99/mo. iPostal1 Standard from $9.99. Far Northeast, not downtown. Still a CMRA. We did not call the store.

Philadelphia Mailroom names 8001 Castor Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19152 on its contact page. Privately owned. Northeast Philadelphia. Mailbox rental and “Digital Mailboxes Available” on the homepage. (215) 745-1100. Hours published on the contact page: Mon–Thurs 9 am to 6 pm, Fri 9 am to 5:30 pm, Sat 10 am to 3 pm. iPostal1 Standard from $9.99. We did not copy a walk-in mailbox price from their site. Parcel Plus names 701 E Cathedral Rd Ste 45, Philadelphia PA 19128. Andorra Shopping Center. Private mailbox rental. (215) 483-9405. Hours published there: M–F 10:00am–6:00pm, Saturday 10:00am–2:00pm. The franchise page names a private mailbox. It does not print a virtual-mail plan we could copy. Anytime’s Pennsylvania index lists Cathedral Rd at US$9.99/mo. iPostal1 Standard from $9.99 with packing-store features. Metro-edge Roxborough 19128, not Center City. Those are stores you can call. They are still CMRAs. They will not fix Mercury. They may fix “who do I yell at if the scan is late.” We did not call the stores.

The Anytime Philadelphia landing is a five-row sticker set: South St 744, Bristol St 1401, Castor Ave 7244, Chestnut St 325, and Girard Ave 533. South St is the one we can name on a packing-store page. The other four stay reported unless an operator page exists. Anytime’s philadelphia-pa landing and its Pennsylvania index often disagree. Girard Ave is US$12.99/mo on philadelphia-pa and US$17.99/mo on the index. We name the URL. The cited pages list those prices separately.

The rest of the table is a curated subset of network pins, not every row on those maps. Locust 4th Floor, Market Suite 1200, Chestnut 325, Walnut Ste 801, and Frankford 7201 stay reported. A prestige sticker does not clear Mercury, Relay, Stripe Issuing, or Google Business Profile. Reported only, not a recommendation. Do not recommend these unverified pins.

If the point is a company-run mailroom rather than a 19147 line, use a published VirtualPostMail mailbox city or a US Global Mail core room. A Center City tower pin is not a VirtualPostMail company room in Philadelphia.

Prices the pages publish

iPostal1’s Philadelphia page publishes a Virtual Mailing Address from $9.99, a Virtual Business Address from $14.99, and a Virtual Office from $39.99. Per-pin tiers we copied from that page: Select $19.99 at 744 South Street; Standard $9.99 at 701 E Cathedral Road Suite 45, 2204 South St Frnt, 3131 N Broad Street Unit 1, 9910 Frankford Ave Ste 4, and 8001 Castor Avenue; Standard $9.99 at 1521 Locust St 4th Floor; Prestige $39.99 at 1515 Market Street Suite 1200. Retrieved September 6–7, 2026 PT. We did not check out each suite.

Anytime Mailbox has a Philadelphia city landing at anytimemailbox.com/philadelphia-pa and a Pennsylvania index at anytimemailbox.com/l/usa/pennsylvania. Those pages disagree. Girard Ave 533 is US$12.99/mo on philadelphia-pa and US$17.99/mo on the Pennsylvania index. South St 744 is US$14.99/mo on philadelphia-pa and is not a named row on that index retrieve. Broad St 3131 is US$9.99/mo on the index and $12.89/month on Anytime’s Broad St location landing. We name the URL. The cited pages do not publish one price between those figures. Those are landing stickers, not a promise the operator still charges that tomorrow.

Anytime’s philadelphia-pa landing also lists Bristol St 1401 at US$14.99/mo, Castor Ave 7244 at US$9.99/mo, and Chestnut St 325 at US$20.99/mo. Anytime’s Pennsylvania index lists Frankford Ave 9910 at US$9.99/mo, Cathedral Rd 701 at US$9.99/mo, Locust St 1521 at US$8.99/mo, and Broad St 121 at US$8.99/mo. Those are index stickers, not walk-in prices we copied from every store.

South Street Business Center’s mailbox page publishes walk-in private mailbox prices on a one-year contract: Personal $300.00, Business $360.00, Corporate $420.00, plus a $20.00 key deposit. The Ship Shop PHL and THE PACK & SHIP STORE Anytime pages both say virtual mailbox prices start as low as 9.99 per month. PostScan’s 7201 Frankford Avenue location page publishes a starter plan at $15/mo. PostScan’s 1315 Walnut St Ste 801 location page publishes a starter plan at $10/mo. Those are operator-published prices on their sites, not an iPostal1 national floor.

If you need banking or Google, stop shopping this table

A South Street packing store and a Center City prestige suite share a metro. Neither one is a bank operating address. A Pennsylvania LLC filing needs a registered office: an actual street address in Pennsylvania, or the name of a Commercial Registered Office Provider (CROP) listed with the Department of State. A post office box alone is not acceptable. A CMRA packing store is not the same as a CROP. A 191xx street on Form 1583 is not a promise the Department of State or a bank will treat it as your registered office or your place of business. This is not legal advice, and it does not say a CMRA becomes your principal place of business. For Amazon or Stripe occupancy, see the commerce page. For Form 1583, start here and the USPS PS Form 1583 (June 2024) before you order checks. For which address banks actually accept, see the product comparison.
